Interactual Dvd Software And OverallActual performance may vary based on hardware, software and overall system configuration. ![]() The problem is that I have been unable to access the DVD-ROM features on a particular DVD. I have been in contact several times with InterActual Technologies about this problem, but so far to no avail. In fact, just tonight the technician from InterActual told me I would probably have to contact either Microsoft or Macromedia about my problem. About an hour ago I went to the Macromedias Troubleshooting section and tried pretty much everything suggested as a possible solution. I would greatly appreciate hearing from anyone who may be able to help solve this problem. ![]() So far I have been unable to access the bonus DVD-ROM which has a number of online features. Interactual Dvd Download And OpenI did download and open the InterActual software which is needed to view the DVD-ROM. InterActual prompted me to insert a disk, which I did, but I immediately got a message telling me that I didnt have the latest version of Macromedia Flash Player. I had an option to attempt to launch the content anyway, without the latest MFP; however, when I tried to do so I got an IE Script Error message. Next, I attempted to download Macromedia Flash Player, but it didnt work. Instead, I noticed a small red X in a box near the top left of the window and the following messages: Important Message: You may need to click the gold bar at the top of the browser window to allow the install. Interactual Dvd Movie Above AndWhen you see the installation completion movie above and text below, your installation was successful. The installation should only take a minute or two on a 56k modem. Note: If a browser Security Warning dialog box appears like the one below, you will need to click Install to install the player. Your computer may require a reboot after auto-installation of the Flash Player ActiveX control, if the Flash Player is already in use during the installation process. Clicking the gold bar did not help. Also, I did not get a browser Security Warning dialog box.) Im wondering now if perhaps changing my Active X settings might help. Anyhow, I went to download.com and it appeared that I was able to download Macromedia Flash Player. I then checked AddRemove Programs and Belarc to see if I had actually downloaded Macromedia Flash Player, only to find that it wasnt listed under either one of them. Incidentally, my operating system is Windows XP Professional, and I have CyberLinkCorps Power DVD, ver. I also have Roxio Easy Media Creator 7.5, which has a component called Roxio DVD Builder, ver. Im wondering if its possible that DVD Builder might be clashing with Power DVD.) I am really confused by all of this, and I certainly hope you will be able to help me solve this problem. I clicked the article link you provided, and I double-checked everythng included therein, but my problem remains. When I went into the registry, the only difference I noticed was that there was one instance of jpeg appearing rather than jpg, but I figure that shouldnt make any difference since my understanding is that the two are interchangeable. I have an ongoing e-mail thread with an InterActual technician, and I have also saved several InterActual screenshots showing what appears whenever I attempt to access the DVD-ROM material.
